Just get the daily coffee going

Walking into the kitchen and opening up the cabinet to find that the coffee can is empty might cause the scary music to play.  There is nothing worse than that feeling of forgetting to get another can.  The coffee must be placed into the coffee maker to get the morning brew going.  There is something about that first cup that gets everything else in motion.

Not having the first cup in the morning is like trying to start the car and the battery not having enough charge.  Just that sound of the engine trying to turn over, but not really getting there.  

The smell of the coffee perking and the sound that is made right when the brew is complete is like music in the air.  The clinking of the cups and the sound of the black silk rushing into the cup just amps up the anticipation.  All that leads up to the moment of actually raising the cup to the mouth.  When the coffee is good, a warm feeling just rushes over the body.

Sometimes, the experience of taking in that first cup goes really negative.  The brew is not right.  Too much coffee might been added and it is too strong.  Other times, the mix was off and the coffee was weak like water.  Getting the right blend takes time and experimentation to taste.  

Some people like the plain coffee and others like to take the coffee game to the next level.  Some like the cheap coffee makers that can get the job done and others want to go down the road of the luxury coffee machines. When it is time to get coffee, some people don't care and just want to get a good cup to get them through the day.
