Venti Mocha Frappaccino on a hot day
When it is really hot outside, you might want to think about switching up your favorite coffee beverage. Normally, I would stick to the hot venti mocha but when the temperature starts to rise, I have to change over to the cool cousin called the venti mocha frappaccino.
One thing that you will notice is that the colder version of mocha is much more expensive than the hot coffee. The cold drink seems to have more of an impact. When it is hot outside, you want something that is good to drink and something that will cool you down. But when it comes to the venti mocha frappaccino, you have to drop big bucks to have the experience.
If you are going to head to starbucks on a regular basis for your coffee needs, do yourself a favor and get a gift card and register it online. Make each one of those visits count and start to earn some of those upgrades. If you are a true coffee person, It will not take you long to achieve the gold status.

Starbucks Venti Mocha
I really like starbucks coffee. The only thing is that everything on the menu is expensive, but the coffee is good so I guess it just comes with the territory.
What is my favorite drink? There was a time that I would go to starbucks multiple times in the day just to get a venti mocha. I would even get the whipped cream on top. Pulling up to the drive through and getting one of those was a great way to start my day. Then in the afternoon, after things had started to slow down, I would go back and get something else.
Coffee is not all that I would get from starbucks. The other item on the menu that is really good is the lemon pound cake. It too is expensive but it is just right. Not too sweet, but a little tangy and it goes perfectly with a cup of coffee. They have a lot of other pastries that look okay, but the only other item on the menu that I like was the cinnamon pastry. Then I think it dropped off the menu.
Venti Mochas are expensive to begin with but I would even upgrade the drink a little bit more. I would add the flavored syrup to make the drink even better. Adding raspberry syrup took my hot mocha up a notch. Then for some unknown reason starbucks decided to change the type of raspberry syrup that they were using and it didn't taste as good anymore.
Do you ever try new drinks at starbucks or are you kind of locked in to your favorites? Why is starbucks the best place to get coffee? They added the drive thru window. It is so much better to sit in your own car and wait for your drink than standing in line inside.

Getting a gift card is great because you can log into your account and transfer the balance to your other cards. Starbucks has different levels that you can attain. You can get drink upgrades and even get a free cup of coffee on your birthday.

Coffee Makers keep breaking too soon
Coffee makers seem to break more often these days. You get a good coffee maker and everything is going fine.
You learn how to set the clock. You don't even have to read the manual on some of them. You finally get the automatic timer setup and you get around to making a decent pot of coffee.
Then for some strange reason, it just stops working. The brewing mechanism just stops. Do they design these things to last only so long, so that you have to go back and buy a new one.
Well make sure that you always have a backup plan for your coffee needs. Boiling water and brewing your coffee manually can deliver good results.
If you don't want to do that, keep Starbucks card handy to make sure you can get your morning cup of java.
