Starbucks Rewards Program Changing

Changes are coming to the starbucks rewards program. Some of the starbucks rewards users are not too happy.

Changing the game on the number of stars needed to get a free drink is causing the comment sections on the articles about this topic to become revealing.  

The new changes also implement a time factor on using the points.  After earning points, they could still go away after 6 months.  

It seems like people are happy with the way that the rewards program is currently working.  The comment section does not seem positive about the move coming to the starbucks rewards program.

I wonder if the starbucks rewards card members are aware of this method for getting coffee.

Do you think the rewards program changes will make people consider doing something else?  The comment sections on some of the news articles about the changing starbucks rewards programs shows that some customers are on the edge.
