Changes are coming to the starbucks rewards program. Some of the starbucks rewards users are not too happy.
Changing the game on the number of stars needed to get a free drink is causing the comment sections on the articles about this topic to become revealing.
The new changes also implement a time factor on using the points. After earning points, they could still go away after 6 months.
It seems like people are happy with the way that the rewards program is currently working. The comment section does not seem positive about the move coming to the starbucks rewards program.
I wonder if the starbucks rewards card members are aware of this method for getting coffee.

Weather is changing

The starbucks app must have been updated because it didn't work on my smartphone any more. I guess it is time for a new smartphone. Fell Down to the Green Level
Fell down back to the green level. Have not been going through starbucks on a daily. Did drop through for a birthday, but didn't get the birthday free drink. Not a biggie.
Just been enjoying coffee from the home coffee maker in the morning. The lines at starbucks are still long when I drive by.
Will I start getting back into the starbucks lines during the fall? They have some special drinks that might cause me to go through there. The price increases keep on happening and I wonder if the money could be better used on paying down some debt instead of getting a great cup of coffee in the morning.

Ninja Blender and Iced Coffee for the Summer Time
My trips to the expensive coffee shops have dropped dramatically. What is the big reason for this change? It all has to do with a blender.
I still like getting hot mochas, but it is really hot outside and I have found a shortcut to great coffee.
The shortcut is the ninja blender. I use it to make iced coffee drinks during the summer time. The ninja is great for making smoothies, but it is also a winner when it comes to making iced coffee drinks.
Just add the ingredients and turn that puppy on and you have a nice cold drink for the hot summer days. There is no need to pay big money for a quick coffee drink to cool you off.

Perfect Cup of coffee
After getting up in the morning, the first cup of coffee is usually the next step.
Dumping the old coffee into the drain and rinsing the coffee pot is like the warm ups for a good game.
Getting the right amount of coffee into the coffee maker is kind of like a science. You don't want to add too much to make the coffee too strong.
Have you ever had coffee that was too strong at a meeting? There is nothing that you can do to fix it. Adding more cream and sugar does not help.
Not putting the right amount of coffee in makes the coffee too weak. This is just like drinking water.
Getting that morning coffee measurement just right is what it is all about. Not too strong and not too weak.
